Our Concept & Approach

KODA Tattoo Studio is operated by Kristal Vision OÜ in Tallinn, Estonia. We are more than just a tattoo parlor; we are an art and design studio dedicated to the craft of visual illustration and body art. We believe that a tattoo is a deeply personal piece of art, and the process of acquiring it should be calm, safe, and inspiring.

We work exclusively with custom designs. Whether you come to us with a fully formed idea or just a vague concept, our resident artists will work closely with you through graphic design and illustration to bring your vision to life before any ink touches the skin.

Safety & Hygiene

Your health and safety are our top priorities. KODA Tattoo Studio strictly adheres to all European and Estonian health regulations regarding skin penetration procedures. We utilize single-use, pre-sterilized needles, high-quality vegan inks, and medical-grade surface disinfectants. Our environment is designed to be sterile yet welcoming.

A tattoo is a considered purchase, and paying for it should never be the stressful part. Alongside standard card payment, KODA is an official partner of ESTO — so you can split the cost of your session into interest-free parts or comfortable monthly instalments.

How to Pay With ESTO

Send us your enquiry and we agree on the design, the session and the final price.
Tell your artist that you would like to pay with ESTO 3 or with ESTO järelmaks.
We send you a personal ESTO payment link. You complete the short application there and receive the decision immediately.
If the decision is positive, you sign the agreement digitally with your ID-card, Smart-ID or Mobiil-ID — and your appointment is confirmed.

ESTO can be used both for the booking deposit and for the full cost of a larger project. If you are not sure which option suits you best, just ask us during the consultation.

What Is ESTO?

ESTO is a financial services company founded in 2016. The brand grew out of the need for a new generation of payment solutions that work equally well for the customer and for the merchant. Today ESTO offers the widest selection of payment solutions in the Baltics: its partner network covers more than 6,000 partners and stores and over 700,000 customers.

Both ESTO 3 and ESTO järelmaks are provided and administered by ESTO AS. The credit agreement is concluded directly between you and ESTO AS — KODA Tattoo Studio is not a party to it. You can review the full terms at www.esto.ee.

The annual percentage rate of charge of ESTO AS instalment credit is 23.63% per year under the following representative example: credit amount €1,490, price of the goods/service €1,490, down payment 0%, fixed interest rate 11.90%, contract fee €0, total amount of credit and repayments €1,844.64, assuming the credit is repaid over 24 months in equal monthly instalments of €76.86. Please review the terms and conditions before concluding the agreement and consult a specialist if necessary.

Terms & Conditions

Welcome to KODA Tattoo Studio (operated by Kristal Vision OÜ, Registry code: 16294661). By accessing our website (kodatattoo.ee) and booking our services, you agree to be bound by the following Terms and Conditions.

1. General Requirements

Clients must be at least 18 years of age to receive any tattoo services. We strictly enforce this policy, and a valid government-issued photographic ID (Passport, ID card, or Driver's License) is required prior to beginning any tattoo session. We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone who is under the influence of drugs or alcohol, or whom we believe to be medically unfit to undergo a tattoo procedure.

2. Design and Intellectual Property

All custom designs, flashes, and illustrations created by our artists remain the intellectual property of KODA Tattoo Studio and the respective artist. Designs are created specifically for the client who commissioned them and may not be copied, reproduced, or tattooed by another artist without explicit written permission.

3. Payment & Booking Deposit Policy

To secure an appointment and begin the design process, a booking deposit is strictly required. The deposit amount (typically €50, though this may vary based on project size) will be applied towards the final cost of your tattoo session. Payments for deposits are processed securely online via Stripe. We accept major credit and debit cards.

3.1 Payment by Instalments (ESTO)

As an alternative to card payment, our services may be paid for using the ESTO 3 payment method (the amount split into up to three equal parts, interest-free) or ESTO järelmaks (monthly instalments over a period of 3–60 months). Both solutions are provided and administered by ESTO AS. A full description of the options is available on our Payments page.

Where you choose to pay via ESTO, the credit or instalment agreement is concluded directly between you and ESTO AS. KODA Tattoo Studio (Kristal Vision OÜ) is not a party to that agreement and does not take the credit decision.
The approval of an application, the applicable period, the down payment and any interest or fees are determined solely by ESTO AS on the basis of its own terms and credit assessment.
Your booking is confirmed once ESTO AS has confirmed the transaction to us. Until then, the appointment slot is not reserved.
Your obligation to make payments to ESTO AS is governed by your agreement with ESTO AS and is not affected by these Terms. Any amount that becomes refundable from us under Section 4 will be settled through ESTO AS.

4. Cancellation and Refund Policy

Booking deposits are strictly non-refundable. We invest significant time in consulting, preparing, and designing before you even arrive at the studio. Therefore, deposits are taken to secure the artist's time.

Rescheduling: If you need to reschedule your appointment, we require a minimum of 48 hours' notice. If proper notice is given, your deposit can be transferred to a new appointment date (maximum of one transfer).
Cancellations & No-Shows: Cancellations made less than 48 hours before the scheduled appointment, or failing to show up, will result in the total forfeit of the deposit. A new deposit will be required to book any future sessions.
Completed Services: All completed tattoo and graphic design services are strictly non-refundable. If a touch-up is required, it is generally provided free of charge within 3 months of the original session, at the artist's discretion.

5. Health and Aftercare

Clients are required to disclose any relevant medical conditions (e.g., blood-borne pathogens, skin conditions, diabetes, pregnancy) prior to booking. Clients will be provided with detailed aftercare instructions. KODA Tattoo Studio is not liable for any complications arising from a client's failure to follow proper aftercare procedures.

Kristal Vision OÜ (“KODA Tattoo Studio”, “we”, “our”, or “us”) respects your privacy and is committed to protecting your personal data. This Privacy Policy informs you about how we look after your personal data when you visit our website (kodatattoo.ee) or use our services, and tells you about your privacy rights and how the law protects you, in compliance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

1. Information We Collect

We may collect, use, store, and transfer different kinds of personal data about you, including:

Identity Data: First name, last name, date of birth (to verify legal age).
Contact Data: Email address, telephone number, billing address.
Financial Data: We do not store your credit card details. All online payments and deposits are processed securely by our third-party payment processor, Stripe. Stripe collects and processes your financial data subject to their own Privacy Policy.
Instalment Payment Data: If you choose to pay using ESTO 3 or ESTO järelmaks, you complete the application on a page belonging to ESTO AS. The identity, contact, income and credit data you submit there is collected and processed by ESTO AS as an independent data controller, under its own privacy policy. We do not see or store that data; we receive only the amount, the reference of your booking and confirmation that the payment has been approved.
Health Data (Special Category Data): Prior to tattooing, you will be required to complete a consent form detailing specific health conditions (e.g., allergies, skin conditions, blood-borne diseases). This is legally required to ensure the procedure is safe for you.

2. How We Collect Your Data

We collect data from and about you through direct interactions. You may give us your Identity, Contact, and Health Data by filling in forms (online or in the studio), booking an appointment, corresponding with us by email or phone, or requesting a consultation.

3. How We Use Your Personal Data

We will only use your personal data when the law allows us to. Most commonly, we will use your personal data in the following circumstances:

To perform the contract we are about to enter into or have entered into with you (e.g., providing design and tattoo services).
To process your booking deposit and payments via Stripe, or — where you choose to pay in parts — to generate a payment link and confirm the transaction with ESTO AS.
To comply with legal and regulatory obligations (e.g., maintaining health consent forms).
To notify you about changes to our terms or privacy policy, or to manage your appointment scheduling.

4. Data Sharing and Third Parties

We do not sell your personal data. We may share your data with strictly selected third parties for the purposes set out above, including:

Payment Processors: Stripe, to process booking deposits and final payments safely.
Credit and Instalment Provider: ESTO AS (Estonia), where you have chosen to pay with ESTO 3 or ESTO järelmaks. ESTO AS acts as an independent controller of the data you provide in its application form.
IT Service Providers: Hosting and email platforms required to run our website and business communications.
Legal Authorities: If required by Estonian law or health authorities.

5. Data Security and Retention

We have put in place appropriate security measures to prevent your personal data from being accidentally lost, used, or accessed in an unauthorized way. We will only retain your personal data for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes we collected it for, including for the purposes of satisfying any legal, accounting, health, or reporting requirements. Tattoo consent forms are securely stored for the period mandated by local health regulations.

6. Your Legal Rights (GDPR)

Under European data protection laws, you have rights in relation to your personal data, including the right to:

Request access to your personal data.
Request correction of the personal data that we hold about you.
Request erasure of your personal data (where there is no overriding legal reason for us to retain it, such as health and safety records).
Object to processing of your personal data.
